Ever since the first product launch of SpreadHunter in August, 2001, retail investors have been asking for a product that they can use too.

Previous versions of SpreadHunter required a professional market maker account with a minimum initial account deposit of $300,000.

Our new product, SpreadHunter SnapShot, provides end-of-day market commentary and trade analysis based on actual option spread trades that were executed in the market that day.

Retail investors can review the candidate trades and enter the trades they like using their current broker.

Because these are real trades, not paper trades, our experts can analyze and explain all points in the trading life cycle, including:

• Initiating spread orders at minimum price

• How to build a spread position at the lowest cost

• Principles for hedging risks in portfolios of option spreads

• When and how to close spread positions

Unlike competing analytic services that provide hypothetical ‘paper’ trades that might or might not get filled at or even close to the stated price, SpreadHunter SnapShot provides analysis on actual trades made by professional traders, all of whom have decades of trading options on and off the floor.

What You Get

Web Reports Delivered Daily

Actual Trades -- Opening and closing spread orders that were executed in the market that day. Experienced traders review the filled orders and screen out the best trades for the retail investor given current market conditions.

Candidate Trades – Trades that look interesting based on computer models, but might not have been filled during the trading day. These trades can be entered just like the actual trades, but there is a lower probability they will be filled.

Market Analysis

Statistical Analysis – Displays the rank dispersion of the top 150 spread candidates in each category. This shows at a glance the relative numeric value of the overall spread markets on any given day.

Commentary – Analysis of the current market environment by our professional traders.
